Shubhankar Pr Bharti is an artist who aim to form political or social currency, actively addressing cultural and social power structures. It concerns the displacement of the migrating people and their action at an unfavorable location creating ambiguous forms, spaces, and identity. It leads to  form temporary structure and traces which evokes the human presence with ambiguity, mystery, and fragility.  sometimes the human body resembles an object and an object resembles a human or living form, which are very temporary in nature. It dwells on the public space such as roadside or in a corner of an alley, which appears to be completely anonymous, evoking human presence inducing a remark on human identity, its class, and hierarchies.
His practice encourages engagement with the social and political space and interaction with elements of society or hors-society.
Shubhankar’s artworks have been exhibited at art galleries in France and India including international and national exhibitions at venues like Le Palais de la Bourse, Marseille and Birla academy of art and culture, Kolkata. He has worked with Indian and international artists in various workshops and internships. He has curated and assisted exhibitions at various
galleries like Nandan art gallery, at Santiniketan
and Nirmala art Gallery, Allahabad.
He has worked as Guest Lecturer at the College of Fine art-CKP, Bangalore, and Bengaluru School of Visual Art- Evening (BSVAE) at Bengaluru, India.
